Do I need one or two hearing aids?

If there is hearing loss on both ears, from an audiological point of view aiding both ears is usually recommended. There are a number of advantages of ‘binaural’ hearing – e.g. localisation ability can be better preserved. If you do not want to purchase two at once, but are still unsure as to which ear to wear something on, some of the HearingDirect products can be used interchangeably on either the left or right ears.
